Regulatory Requirements.
All egg ingredients shall have been processed according to the regulations in 7 CFR 59, Inspection of Eggs and Egg Products (Egg Products Inspection Act of 1970), as amended. The delivered product shall comply with all applicable Federal and State mandatory requirements and regulations relating to the preparation, packing, processing, labeling, storage, distribution, and sales of the product within the commercial marketplace. The delivered product shall comply with all applicable provisions of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and regulations promulgated thereunder.
Labeling.
Commercial labeling, as may be augmented by the solicitation, contract, or purchase order, shall be acceptable. When specified in the solicitation, contract, or purchase order, the label shall include a nutritional analysis of a 240 milliliter (8 fluid ounce) serving of eggnog mix, prepared in correct proportions with whole milk, detailing the applicable value of each of the following:

Quality Assurance.
When required in the solicitation, contract, or purchase order, the quality assurance of the dry eggnog mix shall be determined by the responsible inspection/certification agency (Diary Division or Poultry Division, Agricultural Marketing Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture). The product shall be examined and/or tested in accordance with applicable provisions in the CID, and, when applicable, the U.S. Standards for Condition of Food Containers currently in effect on the date of the solicitation, and in accordance with the requirements of al1 applicable regulations.
